I'm trying out the low card thing. I didn't think it would be hard. I mean meat and cheese right? Um it's a wee bit harder than I anticipated. And by wee bit I mean COLOSSAL! I didn't realize how many things have carbs and lots of them. Praying for self control and disciple. I'll keep ya posted....

Funny, i have been not eating carbs past 2pm, and have lost 3 lbs in a weel.. now if only to loose the stomach as well.. LOL

I had gestational diabetes when I was pregnant with Mack. Carbs are a bad word to the diet nazi who kept track of me. I too was shocked at the amount of carbs in stuff.I drew the line at eating tuna fish for breakfast though. There are lots of ways to still eat the stuff you like and eat carbs though. One tip...when eating mexican food (like tacos or burritos) tear of the excess tortilla. Eating a burger...use a fork and only eat half the bun. Or get those thin sliced whole wheat buns. You would be amazed at how little changes like that will decrease the amount of carbs you eat.

Jennita,
You can do it!! Carbs, Gluten, and processed foods are what is killing the american diet. Its super easy if you get into it...you have to get your kids and hubby involved. Thats the hardest part in my house. Way to go for you! If you ever want any tips or meal ideas let me know...that how I eat. Almost NO carbs and No Gluten. There is a major advantage that I dont want to post on your blog but it's fantastic if you have "potty issues".

Good for you Jennita!! I tried low carb once and had a migraine for a week... couldn't do it. I have been low calorie since end of May and have lost 27 pounds. I see a doctor once a month and they monitor me. Good luck and I will watch for your posts!
